"O my people, trust in Him at all times. Pour out your heart to Him, for God is our refuge." - Psalm 62:8

Trust. From my experience, it seems to me that most people either have much difficulty trusting or they trust too easily and entrust too much about themselves too quickly. I think most of us struggle with it in one way or another. But how often do we fully trust God with every aspect of our life? When is the last time we have truly "poured out our hearts" to the Lover and Creator of our hearts? This week my challenge for you is to get vulnerable with God. He created you and knows the innermost thoughts and desires of your heart. Open your heart to Him in the same way He opens His heart to you. Seek refuge in the Lord God of Hosts.

I hope you have a great week! Seek His peace always. You are loved. :)

"Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things He does for me." -Psalm 103:2

This verse gives a really beautiful perspective to praise. "Let all that I am praise the Lord." I know I find it easy to praise God when I am listening to praise and worship music, which is wonderful in itself, but is that really letting all that I am praise the Lord? There really is so much more to a person. Praise and worship music is a fantastic way to help us start to praise God, but I think letting all that I am praise the Lord involves my every moment of the day, my every thought that passes through my head, my every mood I go through, and my every interaction I have with other people. When I look at it this way, I find it much harder to truly allow God to be praised by everything in me. This week I challenge you to let go. Give God everything. Allow Him into the deepest parts of you, and let every aspect of your being praise Him! For He truly has done so much good for us! :)

Have a wonderful week! You are loved! :)

"Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart." -Colossians 4:2

I really like this verse because it is super simple, but it speaks a lot of truth. "Devoting" yourself to prayer involves more than just doing the minimum, such as going to Mass on Sunday or confession once a year. How do you daily devote yourself to time with God? This week I would like to challenge you to truly devote yourself to prayer. If you don't usually spend any time in prayer each day, then do 5 minutes a day. But if you already do, then increase that time. See what difference spending a few extra moments with the Creator and Lover of all can make in your life. :)

Have a fantastic week! :)
